Join us on November 7th in the OLG Parish Hall for Pizza and Popcorn as we watch "The Forge" movie. Followed by 5 week bible study. Meet for dinner and discussion on key points of the movie and how men can work together in virtue and relationship with Jesus.

Movie Description:

Isaiah Wright has some growing up to do. A year out of high school with no plans for his future, Isaiah is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. Through the prayers of his mother and a prayer warrior named Miss Clara, as well as biblical discipleship from his new mentor, Isaiah begins to discover God’s purpose for his life is so much more than he could hope for or imagine. Jesus focused His time and attention on walking with God and making disciples. Shouldn’t we?

In His wisdom, He chose to invest deeply in the lives of twelve men. He saw them, called them, taught them, saved them, then sent them into the world to bear witness to what He had done for them.

This five-week small group study uses featured clips from the new Kendrick brothers’ movie, THE FORGE, to ignite a passion for knowing Christ personally, following Him sacrificially, obeying Him willingly, and helping others become disciples of Christ.

The world doesn’t need another strategy, it needs men and women who are devoted to Jesus and committed to helping others know and follow Him through lifelong discipleship.
