Mater Dolorosa Lenten Retreat- March 1-3 2024

Friday, March 1st-Sunday March 3rd | Retreat Theme: The Crucified One Lives! Finding Comfort in the Passion of Christ - For more info visit https://materdolorosa.org/retreat-theme/

The retreat begins on Friday evening with registration at 3:00 p.m. The retreat concludes on Sunday morning with Mass at 11:30 a.m. With this option you will be able to come and visit our beautiful grounds on the foothills of San Gabriel and stay for 2 nights throughout the weekend. You may explore over 20 acres of gardens that include our historic Stations of the Cross, the Garden of 7 sorrows and cactus garden located next to a massive Morton Bay fig tree where the very first retreats were held back in 1926. Your conferences, created by members of the retreat team, will be delivered right to your personal device so you will be able to maintain social distancing in the comfort of your own private room. There will be time for personal prayer and the opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation. In addition, you will enjoy 5 delicious meals throughout your weekend. All meals will be served "al fresco". Also, you will have a chance to schedule with a Spiritual Director and get some much-needed rest.

All men are welcome to attend and bring friends. There is a $300 suggested donation for those able to help cover the cost of the retreat. If you are able and willing, please consider sponsoring one or two spots. The Men's Group will help cover the costs for those who are unable to contribute financially. Please sign up by February 1st 2024.
